DESIGN STAR 4

DESIGN STAR is an interior design competition with the winner getting their own show on HGTV. In each of the nine episodes, finalists compete in design-based challenges with one to two designers being eliminated each week. The contestant are narrowed to the final two with the winner chosen by viewers.

The casting-to-air time lag for season 3 has been a long one. The deadline to apply to be on DESIGN STAR 3 was November 30/07; the season premier is June 8/07, a little over six months later. Applicants were required to submit a video, photographs and copies of portfolio pages and/or website links.

If you would like to apply to be on DESIGN STAR, VPTV expects the casting call for season 4 to go out in late summer '08.
